Check-in is every afternoon 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Sabbath House has successfully created a strong foundation for women through a multi-layered approach. Offering women a safe, sober place to sleep serves as the starting point, and provides them a nurturing environment. For many of our participants this might be the first experience for them to be nurtured, to be supported and ultimately believe that they are worthy of more in their lives.
Sabbath House has 26 beds, and sees women and children of all ages, and in all stages of life. Participants can stay for up to six months, are required to attend a program of classes, participate in a work program, and attend weekly case management meetings to track their progress and offer accountability. Required life skills classes with topics such as Nutrition, Goal Setting, Conflict Resolution and Budgeting serve as an integral part of the program.
