Bloomin’ Hope
FLOWER CART & VOCATIONAL TRAINING
Bloomin’ Hope flower cart provides women from both our shelter & transitional housing program a real sense of purpose as well as vocational skills, helping them on their path to self-sufficiency.
Inspired by our Director of Services, Shelly Watson, the Bloomin’ Hope flower cart became a reality in April 2013. A generous donation that included the construction of the flower cart by Soroptomist made this dream a reality.
One of the central efforts of the Bloomin’ Hope is to give people a sense of “purpose”. Participants become engaged with the flower cart for several reasons, and get a multitude of things from their involvement.
